Audio System Overview

The 2011 Acura TSX audio system includes AM/FM tuner, CD player, auxiliary input jack, and optional XM satellite radio. System features: 7-speaker premium audio, speed-sensitive volume control, and audio customization options.

Radio Operation

Operating the AM/FM radio system with preset stations and seek functions.

  1. Press SOURCE to select AM or FM band.
  2. Use TUNE knob to manually select stations.
  3. Press and hold PRESET buttons (1-6) to store current station.
  4. Press SEEK to automatically find next strong station.
  5. Use SCAN to sample each station for 5 seconds.

NOTE: Radio presets are retained when ignition is turned off.

CD Player Controls

CD playback functions including track selection and repeat modes.

  1. Insert CD into slot with label facing up.
  2. Press SOURCE to select CD mode if not automatic.
  3. Use TUNE knob or arrow buttons to select tracks.
  4. Press SCAN to sample each track briefly.
  5. Press REPEAT to continuously play current track.
  6. Press RDM for random track playback.
  7. Press eject symbol to remove CD.

CAUTION! Do not insert damaged CDs; may cause player malfunction.

Audio Source Selection

Switching between different audio sources available in the vehicle.

Press SOURCE button repeatedly to cycle through available audio sources. Current source displays on audio screen.

Sound Settings

Audio customization options for optimal sound quality.

  1. Press A.SEL button to access sound menu.
  2. Use TUNE knob to select: BASS, TREBLE, FADER, BALANCE.
  3. Turn TUNE knob to adjust selected setting.
  4. SPEED VOLUME: Automatically adjusts volume based on vehicle speed.
  5. SUBWOOFER: Adjusts bass enhancement (if equipped).

Settings are automatically saved when menu is exited.

Steering Wheel Controls

Preset Stations

Storing and accessing favorite radio stations.

  1. Tune to desired station using TUNE or SEEK.
  2. Press and hold desired PRESET button (1-6) for 2 seconds.
  3. Station frequency will be stored to that preset.
  4. To recall: Briefly press corresponding PRESET button.
  5. Up to 12 AM and 12 FM stations can be stored.

Presets are maintained even after battery disconnection.
